Hotel Prathapaneni Fresh Foods

Our place is on the Tirumala Bypass Road in Tirupati, over in the Korlagunta area. The door number is 13-26-45-421. It’s very easy to spot because we are right beside the Anjaneya Swamy Temple. Across from us is the Srinivasam Amenities Complex. We focus on food here, hence the name. It’s a busy spot since so many pilgrims are passing through on their way to the hills. We started this because we wanted to serve the kind of food we eat at home. The kitchen is always busy from early morning. We have some seating, but it fills up fast during the lunch hour. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we spend most of our time in the back preparing the vegetables and rice. We don't use any pre-made stuff, just what we get from the market. The 517501 area is always crowded with buses and taxis. Sometimes the noise from the temple bells and the traffic gets loud, but it’s a lively atmosphere. My wife helps with the seasoning and I manage the staff. We don't have a big menu, just the usual items people like to eat when they are traveling. It’s a basic, functional eatery for the common man. We don't use fancy plates or anything. If you're near the bypass road and hungry, you can find us there. It's just simple food for everyone.
