Chitransh Public School, Karera

Our school is located at 6-11-26/C1 in Tirupati, right near the R N B Guest House. It can be a little tricky for people to find us the first time because of the way the numbers are set up, but once you see the guest house, you know you are close. We call it Chitransh Public School, Karera, even though we are based here in this part of town. The building is a simple one with a few floors and a small yard where the kids gather for their morning prayers. It gets quite busy around the entrance when parents are dropping their children off on scooters. We have a small staff here who have been working together for years. We know most of the families by name. The classrooms are filled with the usual stuff like maps on the walls and boxes of chalk. It’s not a very quiet place once the lessons start, as you can hear the teachers talking and the children repeating their ABCs. We don't have a lot of extra frills or expensive equipment. We just focus on the books and making sure the students attend their classes every day. In the afternoons, when the sun is hitting the guest house next door, we start packing up for the day. It’s a routine we’ve had for a long time now. We are just a local school trying to do our part in the community without making too much of a fuss about it.
