Jagni Farmers Producer Company Limited

We've been based out of Chhindi village for a while now. If you know the Tamia area, you know how it is. It's quiet mostly, except for when the harvest is coming in. Jagni Farmers Producer Company Limited is just a group of us who decided to work together. Our office is at house number 172, right in Chhindi. It’s P H No. 40 if you’re looking at the maps. Most days we are out in the fields or checking on what everyone is growing. It’s hard work, no doubt about that. Chhindwara can get quite hot in the summer, but we manage. We aren’t a big fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. It’s just a room where we keep our papers and talk to the neighbors. Sometimes the rain makes the roads a bit messy, but that’s just life here in Madhya Pradesh. We started this because it made sense for the local farmers. Everyone knows everyone around here. You can usually find one of us hanging around the village square or near the tehsil office. We deal with whatever the season brings us. Sometimes it’s wheat, sometimes it’s something else. It all depends on the rain and the soil. We don’t have any big speeches. We just do the work and try to keep things moving. If you’re passing through Chhindi, you’ll see our sign. It’s a plain place, but it works for what we need.
