Ajinkayatara Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our group is centered at house number 117 in Ajangaon, which is part of the Pandhurna area in Chhindwara. We named it Ajinkayatara, and we are a producer company made up of farmers from all around this part of the state. It is a long way from the big cities like Bhopal or Indore, and that suits us just fine. We handle a lot of the day-to-day chores that come with farming—buying the right supplies, figuring out when to sell the harvest, and helping each other out when the weather turns bad. The office in Ajangaon isn't much to look at. It is just a sturdy place where we can keep our files and have meetings when we need to. Sometimes we spend hours just sitting there debating about which crops we should focus on for the next season. It’s not a corporate boardroom with fancy chairs; it’s just a bunch of neighbors and friends trying to make a living together. We have all seen good years and bad years on the farm, so we know not to get too excited when things are good or too worried when they aren't. We just keep working the land and doing the best we can with what we have. Most of us have been doing this since we were small children. This company is just our way of staying organized so we don't get lost in the shuffle of the bigger markets.
