Ktech Projects Pvt. Ltd. is located at No. 18 Dhamodara Moorthy Street in the Kilpauk Garden area. We’ve been in this office for quite a while now. It’s a quiet enough street, though you can hear the main road traffic if you listen closely. The building itself is nothing special to look at, just a regular place where we keep our files and set up our desks. There’s about five or six of us here on a typical day. We mostly spend our time on various project details or talking to people on our mobile phones. We aren't big on fancy office decor or anything like that. We have a few old chairs for visitors and a water cooler that makes a loud noise sometimes. Around 4:00 PM, we usually head out to the small tea stall at the corner to stretch our legs. It’s a good way to break up the afternoon. Kilpauk Garden is a nice neighborhood to be in, even if it gets a bit flooded when the monsoon hits hard. Most of us have lived in Chennai for years, so we are used to how things go here. We don't have any of those corporate posters on the wall. We just show up in the morning, check what needs to be finished, and try to get it done before the day ends. It’s a simple way of working, but it seems to suit the kind of projects we take on. People just drop by if they need something.
