Yes Em Castings

Our foundry is located at Plot No. 4 in Venkata Subramaniya Swamy Nagar in Kundrathur. It’s an industrial-type setup because that’s the nature of casting metal. The workshop is big and open, which helps with the intense heat from the furnaces. We have molds lying around and piles of sand used for the casting process. Everything is a bit grey and dusty, and your hands are never clean for long when you work here. It’s hard, physical work, but it’s what we know how to do. We don't have a formal office with air conditioning or fancy chairs. We usually just sit on some stools near the entrance when we need a break. The area in Kundrathur has a lot of similar small workshops, so there’s always the sound of hammers or machines in the background. We don't go in for big advertisements or fancy brochures to get business. People who need metal parts cast usually find us through word of mouth or by just coming to the plot. We deal with various types of metal and different designs depending on what the customer needs. The work is loud and the days are long, especially when we have a big pour to do. We just focus on the job at hand and try to make sure every casting comes out right. It's a rough environment, but it's where we work every single day.
