Our office is situated in Venus Colony, specifically on the 2nd Street in Alwarpet. It’s an old building, and we use the New No. 8 and Old No. 23 designations. Alwarpet is a nice part of town, usually a bit quieter than the main roads, which helps when we need to concentrate on structural drawings. At United Steel Structural, we deal with the heavy stuff—beams, frames, and the skeletons of buildings. It’s a lot of technical work, checking measurements and making sure everything will hold up. The office is usually cluttered with large rolls of blueprints and technical manuals that have seen better days. We aren't really a "corporate" type of place; the atmosphere is more about getting the engineering right than having a fancy decor. We have a small team of engineers and draftsmen who have been together for quite some time. Sometimes we spend the whole morning arguing over a single connection point in a design. It’s that kind of job. Being in Venus Colony is convenient, even if the streets are a little narrow for some of the bigger vehicles that stop by. We’ve stayed in this location because it feels like home to the business. We don't put on any airs. We just focus on the steel and the structures we’re responsible for, making sure the math works out before anything gets built.
