Maya Steel Corporation

Maya Steel Corporation is out in Madhavaram, specifically in the Villankadupakkam area. Our place is at No. 50 in Gandhi Nagar. It’s an industrial sort of neighborhood, so it fits what we do perfectly. Steel is heavy and messy, so our yard is usually full of stuff waiting to be moved. It’s not the kind of place you’d come to in fancy clothes. There is always some rust or iron dust around. We’ve been operating from this spot for quite a while now. Most of the guys here have been with us for years. We know the truck drivers and the other business owners around the street. It’s a community of sorts, even if it’s just about moving metal. We don’t have a big website or a social media person. Usually, people just call us on the phone or come by the gate to see what we have in stock. The sun can be really brutal out here in the open yard, but we just keep at it. Sometimes the deliveries are late because of the heavy traffic coming into Madhavaram, but we try to keep things organized as best as we can. It’s just honest work. We deal with the materials, load the trucks, and handle the paperwork in our small office. It isn't fancy, but it gets the job done for the people who need steel. We’ve got a dog that hangs around the gate, and he’s basically part of the team now too.
