Mohan Stainless Steel Works

Mohan Stainless Steel Works is located over at No. 12 T. R. Mudali Street. If you know the Kondithope area, you know it can be quite narrow and busy. We’ve been working with steel in this spot for quite some time now. It’s a workshop, so expect some noise and the smell of metal being cut or welded. We don't have a big showroom or anything like that. Most of what we do involves stainless steel for various uses. Sometimes it’s gates, sometimes it’s kitchen stuff or frames. We just take the orders as they come in. The street can be a bit tricky to navigate with a big vehicle, but we manage. It’s a local operation, nothing corporate about it. We have our tools and our benches and we spend most of the day there. It gets hot in the afternoons, especially with the welding machines running. We’ve got a few regulars who have been coming to us for years whenever they need something fixed or made from steel. We don't use fancy computers for our designs, usually just a pencil and paper to get the measurements right. It’s honest work and we stay busy enough. If you’re looking for the shop, just look for the sign on T. R. Mudali Street. We’re usually around from morning until evening. It's a small team here, just us doing the daily grind and making sure the welds are clean.
