Rk Steel Manufacturing Company Pvt. Ltd. is based at 2A 38 New Avadi Road in Kilpauk. If you know where the Kaya Skin Cliniq is, we are right opposite that place. The road is quite wide here, but it still gets crowded during the morning rush hour. We deal with steel, so the place often sounds like metal hitting metal and machines running. It’s a manufacturing setup, so it is not the cleanest environment, with a bit of grease and metal shavings around the floor. We have been in Kilpauk for quite some time now. The building is an older one, but it holds up well for the heavy machinery we use. People going to the clinic across the street probably see us moving big pieces of steel in and out all day long. I usually get to the New Avadi Road office early to check the schedule. There are several of us working here, some in the back with the machines and a few of us handling the orders and the paperwork. It can get quite loud, and the heat from the fabrication work makes the summer days a bit tough to get through. We just keep our heads down and do the work. The location is good because the trucks can get in and out relatively easily, though New Avadi Road can be tricky in the evenings. It is a no-nonsense type of business for us.
