WLH PROMOTERS AND INFRA LLP is based at 139 Commander in Chief Road. If you know Egmore or Nungambakkam, you know how the traffic can be around here. It’s a very central part of Chennai, which makes it easy for people to find us, even if parking is a bit of a headache sometimes. We handle promotions and various infra tasks. It’s mostly about finding the right plots and figuring out what can be built there. The office is usually a bit messy with blueprints and folders everywhere. We don’t bother much with making it look like a showroom. We spend a lot of time on the phone with various departments and contractors. Some days are just long meetings that don’t seem to end, and other days we are out in the sun checking on progress at a site. We’ve seen the city change quite a bit from our window on C-in-C Road. It’s a competitive business, but we just focus on the task in front of us. We aren't trying to be the biggest name in town, just trying to do a decent job so we can keep going. The tea stall downstairs is where we spend most of our breaks. It’s a practical way to run a business. No fancy slogans here, just a lot of legwork and making sure the numbers add up at the end of the month.
