Windra Machines

If you head over to Pattravakkam in Ambattur, you'll find us at 27/56. This is where Windra Machines is based. Ambattur is a heavy industrial area, so there is always the sound of hammers or engines in the background. Our place fits right in with the rest of the workshops on the street. We deal with machines, so there is usually oil on the floor and a bit of a metallic smell in the air. It is not the kind of place where you want to wear your best clothes. We spend most of our hours tinkering with parts or putting things together. The building is older, but it serves its purpose well enough for what we need. We have a few workbenches that have seen better days, but they are sturdy and hold up under pressure. Sometimes the power goes out in this part of town, and we all just sit outside and wait for it to come back on. It is a simple life of manual work and constant problem-solving. We don't have any big corporate goals; we just want to make sure the machines we work on actually do what they are supposed to when they leave the shop. It is a lot of hard work and long hours, but seeing a project finally come together is worth the effort. That's what we do here in Pattravakkam every day.
