Our place is tucked away on Thiru vi-ka street in Gerugambakkam, at 1/207. It's a regular neighborhood, nothing too flashy about it at all. We work on earthing and lighting protection systems. It’s the kind of stuff people don’t think about until a storm hits or something goes wrong with their power. We spend a lot of time looking at maps and technical drawings on our desks. The office is small but it gets the job done for what we need. Sometimes it’s hard to find a parking spot on the street, especially in the mornings when everyone is arriving for work at the same time. We've been in this part of town for a while now. Everyone knows everyone else around here. We have a few guys who handle the actual installations and a couple of us who stay in the office to manage the paperwork and phone calls. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, so we usually have the ceiling fans going full blast. We don't spend any money on fancy decorations or expensive furniture. We'd rather just have the right tools and parts in stock for the jobs. Lighting protection is serious work, but we try to keep the atmosphere in the office pretty light. We drink a lot of tea while we're going over the daily schedules. If you come by, you'll probably see a lot of copper rods and cables lying around. That’s just how it is when we're busy. We aren't a huge corporation, just regular people.
