We are located out in Perembur, Chennai. It’s a busy part of the city and we’ve been here for a bit. Our focus is on concrete machines, which means we deal with a lot of heavy iron and hydraulic systems. Chennai heat is no joke, especially when you are working around engines and metal all day. Our setup is pretty basic. We have a space where we keep the records and handle the logistics of moving these big machines around. It isn't a quiet place. There is always the sound of traffic or someone shouting over a running engine. We don't go in for fancy talk or big promises. If a machine needs fixing, we try to fix it. If someone needs a pump for a job, we see if we have one ready. Most of us have been in this trade for a long time, so we’ve seen just about every problem a concrete pump can have. We don't have a big marketing department. We just have people who know how to turn a wrench and manage a schedule. It gets a bit chaotic sometimes, but we usually figure it out by the end of the day. It’s just a normal Chennai business trying to stay on top of the workload. We have some fans running to keep us cool, but they don't do much. We just drink a lot of water and keep moving the iron around.
