Wedtree

Wedtree is located in the gift section of the Menaka Card building at 14 Arcot Road. We are right in the heart of Kodambakkam, which is a very busy part of the city. Since we share the space with the wedding card shop, the atmosphere is usually quite energetic. You see a lot of people who are planning their big days, and they can be a bit stressed or very excited. We have all sorts of gift items on the shelves, from small trinkets to bigger pieces. It takes a lot of work to keep everything dusted and in its right place, and sometimes we fall behind on that. The noise from Arcot Road is constant, with buses and bikes going past all day long. We don't have a fancy showroom with soft music. It is a hardworking shop where we spend a lot of time on our feet. We know the other shopkeepers on the street and we often send people to the nearby canteen for snacks. We aren't trying to be a high-end boutique. We are just a local business where people can find what they need for a celebration. We handle the sales, do the packing, and make sure the shelves aren't empty. It’s simple work, but it keeps us busy from morning until the shutters go down at night. We just do our best with what we have here every single day.
