Our workshop is located at No. 76A on the first floor in the Tass Industrial Estate in Ambattur. This area is known for its factories and small manufacturing units, so the sound of metal hitting metal and machines humming is something we hear all day long. We chose this spot because it fits the kind of laser work we do. The space is a bit cramped because we have to fit in the equipment and the worktables, but we make it work. The stairs up to the first floor are steep and we are often carrying parts up and down them. We aren't concerned with having a polished or clean-looking office. Most of the time, there are metal scraps or tools lying around while we work. It’s a hands-on environment and we often get our hands dirty. The heat in Ambattur can be quite intense during the summer months, so we usually have several fans running at once to keep the air moving. We don't have a big staff, just a small group of us who know how to operate the machinery. We focus on getting the jobs done as they come in. It is practical work and we don't try to make it sound like more than it is. We’ve been in this estate for a while now and we just stick to our routine every day. It’s just us trying to get through the orders.
