Our office is tucked away in Flat No. 18A at Veekay Manor. If you know Pondy Bazar in T. Nagar, you know how crowded it gets, especially on Gopalakrishna Road. It’s a lively spot to work in, even if finding parking is a total nightmare most days. Deccan Energy Solutions has been operating from this building for a bit now. We do energy stuff, mostly looking at how buildings can use power more efficiently. It’s a small team here. We aren't a huge corporation with hundreds of employees; it’s just a few of us sitting at desks piled with project files. Most of our day is spent on the phone or looking at technical drawings. Being in T. Nagar means there is always noise from the street, but you get used to it. We don't put out fancy ads or use big words to describe what we do. If someone asks, we just tell them we handle energy setups. It’s straightforward work. We like the location because everything we need is right around the corner. Sometimes we grab tea from the stall downstairs and talk about the current projects. It’s a very relaxed atmosphere inside the office, even if the world outside is chaotic. We just focus on the task at hand and try to make sure we don't miss any details. It works for us and the people we help out. We are just local folks doing our thing.
