We are based in the United India Colony in Kodambakkam. Our place is called Orchards, and we are in Flat No 1/1A on 4th Cross Street. It’s a bit of a residential area, so it’s much quieter than the main commercial roads nearby. At Jagath Jothi Solar Energy, we have a very relaxed way of doing things. The office feels more like a home than a business center. We have a few rooms where we keep our records and some of the smaller solar components we use. There are trees outside the windows and you can often hear birds instead of just traffic. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees. It’s just a small group of us who know a lot about solar power. We spend our mornings going over the project lists and then most of the team heads out to the field. Those of us who stay in the office handle the phone calls and the paperwork. We don’t have any fancy brochures or a high-tech reception area. If you come by, you might have to wait a minute while we clear a chair for you. We prefer to keep things honest and simple. We don’t use a lot of technical jargon when we talk to people. We just explain how the systems work and what needs to be done. It’s a quiet, steady life here in Kodambakkam for all of us.
