We are located at Door No.2/758 in the B1 Baba Flats. It is on 6th Street in Unmai Nagar, specifically the Engineers Avenue area of Sunambukolathur. Vkr Builders Llp is operated from here. It is a quiet enough spot compared to the main roads. Most of our work involves local construction around this neighborhood. We spend a lot of time on site making sure the bricks are stacked right and the mix is good. Being in an apartment building like Baba Flats means we are right in the middle of a residential area so we see our neighbors every day. It makes you realize how important it is to build things that actually last for families. We don't use big words or try to act like we are some huge corporation. We are just local builders who know the ground here in Sunambukolathur. Sometimes the rains make the streets a bit difficult to navigate but we still get out to the sites. It’s a lot of back and forth with the suppliers and making sure the workers show up on time. We usually have tea at the local stall and talk about the next phase of whatever we are building. It’s a simple routine but it works for us. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. There is always something to fix or a new wall to start on every Monday morning.
