Over in Chennai, in the Balaji Nagar area, you will find Vishwaksena Infra. Our office is at number 3, on the 2nd Main Road Extension. It’s part of the Chennai City Corporation limits. The neighborhood is fairly quiet compared to the main city center, which is nice when you’re trying to focus on paperwork. We’ve got a small team here. Most of us have worked in construction or infrastructure for a long time, so we don't need a lot of instructions. We just show up and start on whatever is pending from the day before. The office has big windows, but we usually keep the blinds down to block out the Chennai sun. It gets incredibly humid here, so the fans are always running at full speed. We have a lot of folders and binders stacked up because there is always so much documentation to keep track of. It’s not a high-tech office by any means. We use what we have and make it work. Most of the time, someone is coming or going, heading out to a site or meeting a supplier. We don't really have a hierarchy. If something needs cleaning, someone cleans it. If a phone rings, whoever is closest picks it up. It is a very down-to-earth environment. We are just people who live in the city and work hard to make a living in this industry.
