Vijay Metal Industries

We are located at Number 29 on G.M.M Street, which is just off Greams Road. This is an older part of the city and the streets are quite narrow around here. You can hear the sounds of metal being moved and worked on all day long. It is a noisy job and our clothes usually end up covered in dust or grease by the end of the shift. Vijay Metal Industries is not a large factory, but we have been doing this in this same spot for a long time. There is a lot of history on Greams Road and you can feel it in the buildings. Our shop is filled with different types of metal pieces and tools. It can look a bit messy to someone from the outside, but we know where everything is. The heat from the work makes it a bit tough in the afternoons, so we usually drink a lot of tea to keep going. We don't do much advertising or anything like that. People just know we are here on G.M.M Street. Most of our day is spent handling orders and making sure the metal is cut or shaped the way it needs to be. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until night. We just keep the doors open and get to it.
