Our place is at number 412/7 right on G.S.T. Road in Chromepet. It is pretty easy to spot because we are right next to the Reliance Trends building. That road is always packed with cars and people going somewhere. We spend a lot of our time just managing the inventory and dealing with the heat. It is a straightforward business. We deal with shoes and everything that comes with that. The shop has been here for some time and we have gotten used to the noise from the street. It’s not a quiet place by any means. We have our regulars who stop in, and then there are the people who are just passing through Chromepet on their way to work. We don't use any big words to describe ourselves. We are just a group of people working a job. We check the shipments, organize the back room, and make sure the front looks okay. The area around us has changed a lot with all the new shops, but we just stay in our spot. Sometimes we have to move things around to make space for new arrivals. It is constant work, really. Not much more to it than that. Just a shoe shop on a busy road trying to stay organized and get things done every day. It gets dusty from the road, but we just keep wiping the counters and moving along.
