Apsara Doors & Frames

Apsara Doors & Frames is tucked away on Nagendra Nagar Main Road. We are quite close to Gurunanak College, so there is always a lot of student traffic and noise around during the day. Our address is officially New No. 32, but older locals might still know it as No. 20. We deal with exactly what the name says. Wood, frames, and doors. The shop smells like sawdust most of the time, which I have grown to like over the years. We spend a lot of time measuring things and making sure the wood isn't warped. It is a lot of physical work, moving heavy slabs of timber around. We don't really do the flashy advertising stuff. Most of our customers are people from the Velachery area who just walk in because they saw our sign or heard about us from a neighbor. The road gets busy, especially in the evenings, so parking can be a bit of a headache. We have been in this spot for a long time now. The building is older, but it works for what we need. Sometimes the humidity messes with the wood, so we have to be careful how we store things. We aren't a big factory or anything like that. Just a local shop where we handle doors and the frames that go with them. It is honest work and keeps us busy from morning until we shut the shutters at night.
