Ja Fenestration

We are over at No. 6 on 100 Feet Road in Chennai South, specifically in the Sivan Koil Street area of Vadapalani. Ja Fenestration is basically about windows and doors. It's a busy street, so there’s always the sound of horns and bikes going by. Our shop isn't fancy. It’s full of frames, glass pieces, and tools. Chennai heat can be tough, especially when we’re working near the front of the shop. We spend most of our time measuring things and making sure the glass fits right into the frames. It’s more of a workshop than a showroom. We don't have those bright lights or polished floors you see in the malls. It’s a bit messy with sawdust or metal shavings sometimes. People come to us when they’re building something or fixing up their old houses. We just talk to them like regular people, no sales pitches. We tell them what will work and what won't. Sometimes we run behind schedule when a supplier is late, but we try to be honest about it. Vadapalani is a crowded place, and being near Sivan Koil Street means there’s always people around. It’s a good community. We’ve lived and worked here long enough to know the shortcuts and the best places to grab a quick lunch. We’re just a bunch of guys who know how to put a window together. It’s hard work, but it keeps us busy. We like the neighborhood.
