Fenesta Building System

Our office is over on Haddows Road in Nungambakkam, up on the third floor of the Prestige Point building. It’s the old number 33 if you’re looking at the maps. Fenesta Building System has been operating out of this space for some time now. Being on the third floor means we get a bit of a view of the street, which is always packed with cars and people heading to work. The building itself is okay, nothing too modern, but it does the job. We have our desks set up and some samples lying around so people can see what we’re talking about. It gets a bit crowded when we have a lot of paperwork to get through. Most of us take the stairs if the lift is being slow again. Nungambakkam is a busy area, so it’s never quiet outside. We mostly just handle the orders and talk to people who come by asking about their homes. It’s not a huge operation here, just a handful of us making sure things get organized. We drink a lot of tea and try to keep the files in some kind of order. It’s practical work. We don't go in for big speeches or meetings. We just show up at 304 and get on with the day’s tasks until it’s time to lock up. It’s a bit cramped with all the catalogs and samples, but we make it work somehow. If the phone rings, someone usually picks it up eventually. We just stay busy.
