Varundooth

Varundooth is based over in the Ambattur Indl. Estate. Specifically, we are at No. 250 in the Tiny Sector on Northern Avenue. It is a very busy spot to be in. If you have ever spent any time in this part of the estate, you know it is mostly warehouses and small workshops as far as you can see. We fit right in with the rest of them. The name "Tiny Sector" makes it sound small, and to be honest, the spaces are a bit tight in this row, but we make the most of what we have. Most days, we are just busy with the machines or sorting through the items that need to get out the door. The traffic on Northern Avenue can be a real problem in the afternoons, especially when the big trucks are trying to reverse into these narrow slots. We have been in this unit for quite a few years now. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but that isn't really a priority when there is so much work to do. It gets very warm in here during the summer months, so we have to keep the fans running at full speed all day long. Usually, it is just the constant sound of the equipment and someone’s radio playing in the corner. We don’t have a proper reception desk. If someone comes by, they usually just walk in and look for one of us. It is a very straightforward setup with no frills.
