We are over at No 20, Gandhi Street, in the Janakiram Colony Extn area of Arumbakkam. It's a busy part of Chennai and we’ve been here for a bit now doing construction work. The name Vaithianathaswamy Thunai Roarke Construction Private Limited is a mouthful, I know, but it’s who we are. Mostly we just focus on getting the jobs done right around the neighborhood. Sometimes things get a bit hectic with the traffic on Gandhi Street, but we manage. We handle the building side of things, dealing with materials and making sure walls stay up. People usually find us by asking around or just spotting our sign. It is a small team here. We don't have fancy office desks or a big lobby. Just tools, plans, and enough space to work. Being in Tamil Nadu-600106 means we see a lot of local projects. We don't really do the big flashy advertisements. Most of our day is spent looking at blueprints or being out at a site. If you're walking through Arumbakkam, you might have passed us already. We keep it simple and just stick to what we know about building. The streets here are narrow, so getting trucks in and out takes some patience. We have a few guys who have been with us since the start. It's not a corporate setup, just a group of us working hard. We spend a lot of time just talking to neighbors and making sure we aren't blocking the road.
