You will find A. S. V. Stones Pvt. Ltd. at Door No. 8 on Plot No. 37 in Dhanalakshmi Colony 1st Street. It is tucked away in Vadapalani. The neighborhood is mostly residential but we have our stone yard set up here. It is a place where we keep various slabs and tiles that folks use for their floors and walls. We have been at this address for several years. The yard is usually full of different colors and textures of stone. It takes a lot of work to keep it somewhat organized so people can see what we have. We aren't big on marketing or fancy brochures. Usually people just walk in because they live nearby or their contractor told them about us. We spend the day moving pieces around and making sure nothing gets chipped. The sun can be quite strong in Vadapalani so we stay in the shade when we can. Working with stone is a bit messy and there is always some dust on our clothes. We don't mind it because it is just what we do. Sometimes we sit out front and talk to the neighbors when things are slow. It is a quiet street for the most part except when a truck is unloading.
