V Computers

V Computers is tucked away on 17th Street in NSK Nagar, which is part of the Arumbakkam area here in Chennai. The exact spot is 317, though the old door number was 5. It’s a quieter street compared to the main roads, which is nice when you’re trying to concentrate on fixing a motherboard or troubleshooting some software. We have a small setup here where we take in laptops and desktops that are acting up. Most of the folks who live in NSK Nagar know us because we’ve been here for a good while. It isn't a fancy showroom with glass displays. It is more of a workshop where there are tools on the tables and spare parts in boxes on the floor. We spend our mornings checking the machines that were left overnight and our evenings talking to people who stop by after work to pick up their stuff. Sometimes the street gets a bit flooded when it rains heavily in Chennai, but we stay open as long as we can. We just focus on the technical side of things, making sure the computers we work on actually last. It’s a simple business run by people who actually like taking things apart and putting them back together. We don’t spend money on big ads, we just rely on doing the job right so people come back.
