Our office is over on Mkn Road, near the Maduvankarai area in Alandur, Chennai. It’s house number 3. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a good while now. It’s a busy part of the city with the metro and all the traffic nearby. We focus on HP products and services, mostly dealing with computer repairs, parts, and technical help for people in the area. The shop floor is usually filled with laptops opened up and parts scattered around while we work. It’s not the neatest place in the world, but we know where everything is kept. People come in with broken screens or slow machines, and we just try to get them fixed up. It gets loud with the fans and the street noise coming in through the door. We don’t really do big advertisements; people just find us when their tech stops working or they need a new part. The staff here is mostly local guys who know their way around a motherboard. We have tea breaks in the afternoon like everyone else in Chennai. Sometimes the parts take a while to arrive from the supplier, and we have to explain that to the customers. It’s a straightforward job. We open in the morning, fix what we can, and go home when the work is done. It’s just a regular service point in a busy neighborhood.
