Our office is in the Mig Building over in Indira Colony. It’s 73/4, right in the middle of Ashok Nagar here in Chennai. Utkal Umariya High Rise Private Limited sounds like a big name, but we’re actually a pretty grounded group of folks. We spend our days dealing with the ins and outs of residential buildings. Being in Ashok Nagar is good because we’re close to a lot of the projects we keep an eye on. The office itself is pretty simple. We’ve got our files, a few computers, and a lot of maps and drawings pinned to the walls. It’s not the kind of place you’d come for a fancy presentation with slides. We’re more likely to sit down with a cup of water and just talk through what needs doing on a project. Building in a city like Chennai has its own set of headaches, from the heat to the logistics of getting materials through narrow streets. We’ve dealt with it all before and don't get too bothered by it. We aren't into making big promises we can't keep just to get a contract. We just look at the site, look at the budget, and see what can actually be done. Our team is a mix of older guys who have been doing this for decades and a few younger people learning the ropes. It works out well for us. We don't spend money on expensive ads. We just try to finish one job and move on.
