Uniqspaces Infra Private Limited is over in Mylapore. We’re at No.26 in B-Block on Karaneeswarar Koil Street. If you’ve ever been to Mylapore, you know how tight the streets can be and how much history is around every corner. Our office is in an older building, so it has that specific smell of old paper and wood. It’s a bit cramped, to be honest. We have desks squeezed in, and there’s always someone bumping into a chair. But it’s a good spot. We’re close to the temple and all the shops. Sometimes the noise from the street festivals gets so loud we can’t even hear the phones ring. We just laugh and wait for it to pass. It’s part of the charm of being here. We do infra work, but being in such a traditional neighborhood makes us think about how things used to be built. We spend our days on the computer or talking to vendors. There’s a lot of back and forth with suppliers, and sometimes things don't go as planned, which is just life in this industry. We have a small balcony where we go to get some air when the office feels too small. You can see the rooftops of the neighborhood from there. It’s a humble place, and we’re just a group of people trying to make things work in a very busy part of town.
