Unico Stainless

We are Unico Stainless, and we are located on the 2nd floor at 5 Ponnappa Chetty Street. Being on the second floor means we do a lot of climbing. Carrying stainless steel pieces up and down those stairs is not easy, but we are used to it by now. Ponnappa Chetty Street is one of those narrow streets where you can barely fit a car. It is always packed with people and carts. Our space is not very big, so we have to be very smart about how we store our metal stock. The sound of clanging metal is pretty much the background noise of our lives. We have a small office area that is usually covered in papers and samples. It is not the cleanest place, but we know where everything is. We deal with a lot of different suppliers and customers who come up the stairs to see us. The building is old and the fans squeak, but it is a good spot for business. We spend our days measuring things, checking the weight of the steel, and talking on the phone. We are just a small team of people working hard in a crowded part of the city. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy showroom. We just have our steel and our reputation with the folks who have been buying from us for years.
