Technip India Ltd has its spot at Plot No. 1009A in Chennai. We’ve been operating out of this part of Tamil Nadu for some time now. The office is pretty standard for the area. We have a lot of people coming in and out every day, mostly engineers and support staff who know their way around a project site. Chennai can get incredibly hot, so we’re usually glad for the shade inside the building. We don’t spend much time worrying about how the office looks to outsiders. Instead, we focus on the piles of drawings and the schedules we have to keep up with. It is a lot of hard work and sometimes we stay late when things get complicated. Everyone here has their own way of doing things, but somehow it all comes together in the end. We aren't big on meetings that don't go anywhere. We’d rather just talk over a desk and figure out a solution to whatever problem popped up that morning. The area around Plot No. 1009A has changed a lot since we started, with more buildings going up all the time. We just keep doing our thing. It’s a decent place to spend your working years. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to do our jobs right and make sure everything is safe. That’s the reality of life here for us. It’s just plain work. We just show up.
