Jaasper Engineering

Our workshop is over on Galaxy Road in Ponniamman Nagar, Ayanambakkam. It’s number 15/85 if you’re looking for it. Ayanambakkam is a pretty busy area with a lot of manufacturing and small shops. Our place is loud because of the lathes and the milling machines we use. There is always the smell of cutting oil and the sound of metal hitting metal. It’s a real engineering shop, not some clean office. We have grease on our clothes and metal shavings on the floor. We take on all kinds of small and medium engineering jobs. People bring us drawings or old parts that need to be remade, and we just figure out how to do it. It’s not always easy, but we’ve been at it long enough to know the tricks. We don't have a website that’s updated or a salesperson. Most people just find us because they’ve heard about our shop from someone else. It’s a steady pace of work. We start early when the air is still a bit cool and keep going until the job is done. The shop is a bit dark inside, but we have good lights over the machines. It’s just a place where things get made. We don't overthink it or use fancy words for what we do. We just focus on the measurements and make sure the parts fit like they are supposed to.
