We are on the fourth floor of the Sigappi Achi Building. Our address is Number 18/3 on Rukmini Lakshmipathi Road in Egmore, Chennai. It is a very busy part of the city, so there is always the sound of horns and traffic coming up from the street. Our office is a pretty standard workspace with lots of desks, computers, and stacks of files related to our engineering projects. We have been based here for many years. It is not the kind of place with modern art on the walls or expensive furniture. We just have what we need to do our jobs. The elevator is sometimes a bit slow, so we get some exercise taking the stairs. Our day usually involves a lot of phone calls and looking at technical drawings. We are not into big corporate speeches or fancy presentations. We just talk about the work that needs to be done on the sites. Most of us have been working together for a long time, so it feels very familiar. We have a small corner where we make tea and eat our lunch. It is a practical environment where we focus on the details of construction and engineering. Chennai is a fast city, but inside our office, we just keep a steady pace. We do not do much to promote ourselves; our work on the various projects usually speaks for itself.
