Tata Value Homes

We are over at No. 451 in Kodambakkam, which falls under the Mandaveli Taluka area. It’s a classic Chennai neighborhood with narrow streets and lots of people. Our Tata Value Homes office is a bit of a local landmark for the people who live right around here. It’s an older building, and it has that specific smell of old paper and floor cleaner. We aren't working in a fancy tech park; we’re right in the middle of the local life. You can hear the vegetable sellers and the traffic from the window. The office is often a bit cluttered with blueprints and folders because we have a lot going on at once. We don't really follow a strict dress code, so you'll see us in comfortable shirts and sandals most days. It gets very humid, so the fans are always clicking away overhead. We usually have a lot of people dropping by with questions, so there’s a lot of talking throughout the day. We’re just a group of regular folks who know the neighborhood well. We don't use big words or have complicated systems. We just keep track of things in our ledgers and on our computers. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes when we have visitors, but we always find a chair for them. It’s a practical, no-nonsense way to run an office.
