Tata Steel Limited

Our office is in the Eldorado Building on Nungambakkam High Road. Number 112. It’s a well-known road in Chennai, so there is always a lot going on outside. Tata Steel Limited has a space here that we use for our daily business. It’s not the steel mill itself, obviously, just the place where the paperwork and meetings happen. The building is older but it holds up well. We have windows that look out over the traffic, which can be pretty stuck during rush hour. Inside, it’s mostly rows of desks and people on the phone. We have a small area for tea and coffee where we take breaks. It’s a bit formal compared to some places, but we still have our jokes and casual moments. The air conditioning is always on because of the Chennai heat. We've got stacks of reports and charts on the walls. It’s a busy environment. We come in early to beat the worst of the traffic on High Road. The security guys at the entrance know us by name now. It’s a functional space. We don’t have anything fancy like a gym or a cafeteria inside our bit. We just go out to the local places when we're hungry. It’s a solid place to work and we’ve been here for quite some time. We just keep our heads down and do what needs to be done.
