We are located over at No. 10 on Haddows Road in Nungambakkam. It’s a pretty central spot in Chennai, so there is always a lot of traffic and noise outside our windows. Tastec Building Technologies India Private Limited is mostly about the technical side of construction and building stuff. We have been working from this office for a bit now, and it feels like home. It’s a typical office setup, nothing too fancy, just desks, computers, and a lot of paper everywhere. We spend our mornings looking at designs and our afternoons usually involve a lot of phone calls. The team here is small, and we’ve all known each other for a long time. We try to keep things straightforward and don't like to overcomplicate our projects. Nungambakkam is a good place to be based because everything is close by. Sometimes we grab lunch at the small shops around Haddows Road when we have the time. Our work involves a lot of details that people might find boring, but it's important for making sure buildings are solid. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, we just want to do our jobs well and go home to our families at the end of the day. It’s a lot of practical, hands-on thinking. Some days are long, especially when deadlines are close, but that’s just the nature of the building industry here in Tamil Nadu.
