Surya Steel Roofings

Our office is at Old No. D-29, New No. 6, up on the 1st floor on 8th Street in Anna Nagar East. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, but it’s a decent spot once you get there. We deal with roofing materials, so we have samples of different metal sheets leaning against the walls. It’s mostly an office where we plan out the orders and talk to people about what kind of roof they need. The street outside is usually lined with parked cars and people walking their dogs, which is a bit different from the heavy industrial areas. We have a few desks squeezed in together and a map of the city pinned to the wall with some markers on it. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when more than two people visit at once. We spend a lot of time on the phone, checking on deliveries or talking to the guys out at the sites. The floor is tile and shows every bit of dirt that gets tracked in, so we try to sweep it at least once a day. It’s a simple operation, run by a few of us who’ve been doing this for a long time. We don't have fancy brochures or a glossy lobby. We just sit here, look at the measurements, and figure out how much roofing sheet is needed for the next job.
