We have been running things at 93c/35a T.S.Gopal Nagar for quite a while now. It’s just a basic office setup here in Thiruvottiyur, Chennai. Sundar and the rest of us handle the usual tax filings and audit work that local people need help with. It gets really busy during the tax season, but that is just how it goes in this profession. Most folks who come by are from around the neighborhood or own small businesses nearby. We don't have any fancy leather chairs or a large reception area, but the files get organized and the numbers get checked properly. Sometimes the traffic on the way to the Chennai-19 area is a bit much, but we are usually at our desks by nine. People just drop off their papers and we get to work on them. It’s mostly just keeping everything straight with the government rules and making sure nobody misses a deadline. The office is pretty easy to find if you are familiar with T.S.Gopal Nagar. We try to keep the paperwork moving so things don't pile up too high on the desks. Every day is a bit different depending on which client calls or what new form the department decides to put out. We just do the work as it comes in. It's usually quiet in the mornings. We’ve seen a lot of changes in the area over the years, but the office stays pretty much the same. Just a place to get the accounting done.
