S Ramesh & Co Chartered Accountant is based at No G5 in the Mahalakshmi Flats, which is Building No 26 on Tank Bund Road. We are right in Nungambakkam, directly opposite Loyola College. It is a very busy part of Chennai 600034. You can always see students walking around and the traffic on Tank Bund Road is almost constant. Our office is on the ground floor, which makes it easy for people to just stop by without having to climb any stairs. The flat itself is a bit older, but it has a solid feel to it that we like. We aren’t trying to impress anyone with expensive furniture. We have our desks, our files, and a few fans to keep the Chennai heat away. Usually, the day starts with us checking the mail and planning out what needs to be done. We take our work seriously but we don’t act like we’re in some big corporate tower. It’s a more personal atmosphere here. Being across from the college means there’s always something happening outside, and it makes the area feel young and energetic. We mostly stay focused on the figures and the forms we have to deal with. It is a humble place, just a ground-floor unit where we put in our hours and try to keep things running smoothly for everyone who comes by.
