Bashyam & Company

Our place, Bashyam & Company, is at 56/1 on Dr Natesan Road, right in the middle of Triplicane. It is one of those old parts of the city where the streets are narrow and the buildings are packed close together. We have been operating from this spot for a long time now. The building is a bit worn down in places, but it has a lot of character. We deal with various goods and business matters, and our day usually involves a lot of talking to people who walk in off the street. Triplicane is always noisy with bikes and vendors, and that sound comes right through our front door. We have old wooden shelves and desks that have seen a lot of use over the years. We do not really bother with modern decor because the current setup works just fine for us. There is always a pot of tea somewhere and someone coming by to drop off a delivery or pick something up. The afternoons can get very humid, so we keep the fans running at full speed. It is a simple operation where we try to keep things moving without too much fuss. We do not have a marketing department or anything like that; we just rely on being here every day for whoever needs us. It is a traditional way of doing business, rooted in this specific neighborhood and its daily rhythms.
