Summit Solutions/Bharat Shipping Agencies

We operate out of the second floor at 154 Linghi Chetty Street. We’re quite close to the Parrys LIC building, which is a big landmark around here. Having two names, Summit Solutions and Bharat Shipping Agencies, can be a bit confusing for some, but it’s just how we’ve grown over the years. The office is a bit of a climb since the elevator is often slow. Once you’re up here, it’s mostly just rows of desks and people talking on phones. We’ve got a lot of files because shipping involves so much paper. It’s a loud area, very industrial and commercial. We’ve got a good view of the street activity from the balcony. We mostly handle agency work and shipping details. It’s not a fancy job. We spend a lot of time waiting on updates from ports or customs. Our team is small, and we’ve all been doing this for a long time. We know the routines of the Parrys district. There’s a certain way things move here. We don't have a website that does much; we prefer just talking to our clients directly. It’s more personal that way. We just keep track of the ships and the cargo and try to make sure everything gets where it’s supposed to go on time. We usually finish up by seven in the evening.
