Studying

We are located at 294/5 Main Road in Nambivayal, which is part of Pattukkottai in the Thanjavur district. Being right on the Main Road means we see everyone passing by. Studying is the name we went with, and we operate out of this small building here. It’s a very local operation. We don’t have any fancy branches in big cities. We just serve the people around here in Nambivayal. The office is pretty basic. We have some wooden desks and a couple of old fans that make a bit of noise, but they keep us cool. A lot of our day is spent talking to families from the surrounding villages. We help them figure out the paperwork for schools and courses. It’s a lot of reading through fine print. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. We just provide a place where people can get some help with their education plans. Since we are on the Main Road, it can get dusty, so we are always wiping down the tables. It’s a friendly place, though. People often stop by just to say hello or ask a quick question while they’re out doing their shopping. We like being part of the Thanjavur community. It’s quiet in the mornings and gets busier as the buses go by in the afternoon. We stay open until the main market starts to wind down for the night.
