Hitt Academy

Mint Street in Sowcarpet is probably one of the busiest places you could find. We are at No 478, right next to the Syndicate Bank. If you know the area, you know how crowded it gets with all the shops and the people walking everywhere. Our place, Hitt Academy, is right in the middle of all that energy. It’s an old building, the kind you see all over this part of North Chennai. We are up on one of the floors, away from the immediate noise of the street vendors. The stairs are a bit narrow, but once you get inside, it’s a different world. We have a few rooms set up for the classes. We don't have much in the way of decoration, just the essentials like tables, chairs, and whiteboards. The bank next door is a good way for people to explain where we are located. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, or use the backup if it's working. It’s just how things are here. We work with a lot of students from the families who run local businesses in Sowcarpet. The air is always full of the smell of street food from outside. We keep our doors open to let some breeze in when it's not too dusty. It’s a very straightforward place for anyone looking to get some extra study time in. It feels real and connected to the street life outside.
