Our office is over in Egmore, on the first floor of the Alsamal building. It is right there on Montieth Road, which is a busy spot. Even though the name Steelneeds.Com sounds like we are just an internet thing, we actually do a lot of real-world work from this office. It is suite FL8. The building is older, and you can feel the history of the area when you walk in. Inside, it is mostly us sitting at computers and talking on the phones. There are samples of steel pieces sitting on the shelves next to old files. We have some tea and snacks in the afternoon while we check on orders. Egmore has that specific energy where everything feels like it is moving fast. We don't have a big polished lobby or anything like that. It is just a workspace with some desks, chairs, and a lot of power cables running along the floor. We talk to people all over the country about their steel requirements. Sometimes the internet is slow, and we all just sit around waiting for pages to load. We have been here at Montieth Road for quite some time now. It’s a practical place to work. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy office. We just want to make sure the orders are processed and the steel gets to where it is supposed to go. That is our daily life here in Chennai.
