Steel Fabs

Steel Fabs is located at K-7 in the Industrial Estate, right opposite the Sidco Arch. If you are driving by, you can't miss the arch, and we are just right there. We spend our days working with all kinds of steel. It’s a lot of fabrication work, which means plenty of welding and grinding going on from morning until evening. The shop is big and open so we can move large beams around. It gets pretty loud inside when everyone is working at once. We make things like trusses, gates, and industrial frames for other businesses around the estate. Being in the industrial area is good because we are close to our suppliers and other shops. We don't have any fancy brochures or a sales team. Most of our work comes from people just seeing what we do or coming by the shop to ask for a quote. We have a few heavy-duty machines for shearing and bending the plates. The floor is usually covered in iron dust and small offcuts of metal. It’s hard work and the sun makes the metal hot to touch in the summer, but we are used to it by now. We just focus on getting the welding beads straight and making sure the structures are solid. It’s just a straightforward fabrication shop where we get our hands dirty every single day to get the orders finished for our local clients.
