S.S Hardware

S.S Hardware is right here on Mth Road in Mannurpet, at number 42/5. It’s a busy spot, especially with all the trucks and bikes going past all day. We have stacks of things everywhere inside. Nails, screws, hammers, and all those small bits people need for their houses or their jobs. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we usually know where everything is kept. If someone asks for a specific size of bolt, we can usually find it in one of the back bins. Mannurpet is a good area for this kind of business because there are so many workshops nearby. People come in with grease on their hands looking for a tool they just broke. We talk to them, find what they need, and they go back to work. I’ve been working here for years and the shop hasn't changed much. The walls could probably use some paint, but we are too busy to worry about that. It’s a bit dusty because of the road, but that’s just how it is. We don't try to be anything we aren't. It’s just a hardware store where you can get what you need without a fuss. Sometimes we have a tea and talk to the regulars who stop by just to say hello. It's a nice way to spend the day. We stay open until the sun goes down and then we lock up and head home to start it all again tomorrow. It is what it is, and we like being part of the neighborhood.
