Sri Steel

Our place is located on Linghi Chetty Street. We are at the old number 220/1. If you know this street at all, you know how crowded and busy it gets during the day. It is one of those old parts of the city where the buildings are all squashed together and the lanes are narrow. We have been in this same spot for many years. The front door is a bit creaky and the stairs are quite narrow for moving things. It is not the kind of place where you would expect to find a steel business, but here we are nonetheless. We have seen a lot of different neighbors come and go over the years we have been here. We stay because we like the energy of the street. It is always loud with people shouting and horns honking outside. We don't have a big fancy showroom with lights. We just have our stocks and a small desk where we do the books. Most of our regulars know exactly where to find us. They just walk in and we have a chat about what they need. We don't use any big words or try to impress anyone who comes through the door. We just tell you what we can do and what we can't do. The lighting inside isn't the best but we know where everything is kept. It is a bit of a maze sometimes. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to suppliers.
